Well everyone one of the first things I wanted to do before I started blogging on various topics was to give you a list of books that I recommend for various topics. Thus, this is why below my picture and an e-mail address for you to e-mail me at is a link to my list of books I recommend. If you click on it, just hit OK, then you should be able to access this list. I was really happy to be able to work on this list and I will continue to update the list as I read more and feel comfortable enough with the content to share with you. Next blog, I will give you an update of how I am doing (as well as your favorite person, Faith Brandner). E-mail and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or encouragement. The e-mail is PastorJoey7@yahoo.com Thanks!!

Welcome! I am really excited about being able to share with you some of the things I am learning and thoughts I am having. This will purely be from my own experiences. I hope you are ready to journey through the mind of a (hopefully) normal twenty-two year old. I am excited to share with you as I journey through this walk called the Christian life. I hope you will journey along as well. There will be difficult times where I will try to address difficult matters. I am reminded of Jesus warning and words in Luke 14 that "anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple." There will also be sweet times as we reflect on what Christ has done for us and our identity in Him. We are God's children (John 1:12). We are co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). Throughout the Bible God refers to his people as "aliens." This does not mean we are a bunch of ETs hobbling around wanting to "phone home." What this does mean is that we were not made for this world. We were made for something greater. As we look to God to live for heavenly things, be strengthened and be encouraged. We journey together. We journey towards Christ.
